:D Just found this on NTL on channel 174, it`s apparently available on Sky but I don`t know about Telewest. Website here - a real mixed bunch of films and interviews.

hmm..

At the moment I am using a Sky box with no card in it.. The horror channel is one of the few `proper` channels I can get (others inc, Men and Motors and Reality TV)

The channel, which might as well be the Bad Movie Channel (this is about two channels down on the Sky Planner) shows some really bad films. Last night, pick of the night was Head Cheerleader/Dead Cheerleader - i think you`ll get the idea.

A lot of the time the films look like pornos (so always disappoint) because of the bad acting, bad scripts and propensity to show boobs, or they are German and shot on video cameras (so, more like pornos then)

for example..

Quote:
A teacher develops an invisibility serum, then takes his bloody revenge on the students who taunted him as well as several trips to the girls` showers!

But, it promises that soon it will be showing all of the Hellraisers, and Monster in the Closet (i had a poster for this when i was younger, and have wanted to see it again or ages..)

Mind you, I always check whats on it.. so it can`t be all that bad.

Despite a change in ownership, and an increased budget, this channel continues to show unacceptably poor quality prints of mainly mundane and unintersting movies.
They should either put in enough cash to do it properly or just close it down

I have to agree...the quality is very poor. This channel has been up & running for a few months now & there`s hardly been anything worth watching.

Although, they did show `Pumpkinhead` the other week. :D :D :D

I`ve barely watched it since finding it TBH - there aren`t any films that I would go out of my way to watch at the moment but I`m likey to keep an eye on the listings just in case.

The Horror Channel has been running much longer than a few months.

Most of the movies may be pretty dire but you have to factor in that they`re showing niche material with a low budget. It certainly isn`t everyone`s `cup of tea` but hey it`s free (completely), UK based and their films are at worst a laugh for the time they`re on.

My NTL digital box tells me I am not subscribed to this channel. Which package do you need to be able to receive this? I think I get the most basic package at the moment.
