Page 1 of The Monster Squad is coming.....

Hi,

I was looking through a couple of old threads and ran into a mention of this movie in a few places.

I am a huge fan of this movie - remember having a slightly dodgy VHS copy a few years back and was just about to part with some cash on Ebay when I decided to do some looking around the net.

The legal wrangling has been sorted, Lionsgate now own the rights for the movie and have announced they will be releasing it this year (20th anniversary) with extras including commentries from cast members - I cant get away with commentries for some reason - and the film will be a whole new cleaned up transfer better than anything relesed before.

And of course they gave us the all important release date..................No they didnt!!!!! The aniversary is in August but I want it now!!!!!!!!!!

If anyone has heard anything let me know please.

I saw it a couple of weeks back after about, ooh, 15 years maybe.

It was still good fun :) Surprisingly adult, too!

Its one of those movies that i always wanted to watch, but never got around to doing so, after reading the positive views and good reviews elswhere its a must purchase when its released.
