Cheapest Heat Special Edition ?

clayts (Elite) posted this on Sunday, 13th January 2002, 10:55

Thanks to Westy for the heads up on the existence of this two-disc, Fight Club-style packaged fest, which includes a dts soundtrack (at last - man, the DD mix was brilliant, can`t wait for the dts version).

http://www.interdvd.co.uk do it for £40. http://www.ringos.co.uk for £30.

Anyone come across it any cheaper than that (he asked hopefully...)

Happens to be my all time favourite film is all !

Certainly is.

Got two on order, can`t wait- i may even bribe the neighbours to just get out for some fresh air for 3 hours!

what are the special features as i`ve looked everywhere and ringos don`t list them, or at least i couldn`t find them if they did, i may be retarded.

Strange quirk on the DTS disc with the cropping of the pic to 1:85 - strange!

Agree with Clayts that this is one of my fave films. The shoot-out scene is one of the all-time most intense home cinema demo scenes. I have to resort to my Dolby Digital LaserDisc for this one though.

Have been waiting for ages for a DTS / Special Edition of the film.......the only drawback with the one noted is the Aspect Ration for the DTS version.......it`s just not the whole biscuit is it!!!!!

Any news on a Region 1/2 version with all the bells and whistles?

I also love this film, but the dvdtimes review states it is pretty much the same as the region 1 disc but with DTS as well. Not 2-discs, and no extras apart from the 3 trailers. I wouldn`t shell out £30 for it !!!
