having just watched it, it`s all coming back.

are there any plans for an official release of this? in any format?

not sure about Jackass itself but Steve-O has a DVD coming out featuring his two videos: Don`t try this at home: The Steve-O Video and Don`t thry this at home: The Career Ender. It features uncensored and new footage MTV refused to air.

You could also try the CKY videos which feature all kinds of insane stunts, i think this is what spawned Jackass as most of the team are featured, they even completely destroy a rental car and get away without having to pay any damages. A box set has just been released featuring CKY, CKY2K, CKY3 and a bonus video documentary. each disc has bonus footage and i`ve seen it for about $60. You can also get the individually, the best place to start is at www.411vm.com it`s a skate video magazine that puts all the DVD`s out.
Oh and for those wondering, CKY stands for Camp Kill Yourself.

Hopefully full Jackass seasons will follow soon.

Best of Jackass DVD releases later this year are rumoured alongside the Jackass Movie being made very soon!

I just love those sincere "Don`t try this at home!" warnings that Channel 4 insist upon placing before showings of Jackass. Why on Earth would it be such a bad thing if the sort of people who think that it`s clever to copy Jackass stunts met their well-deserved doom? Can't we just regard it as a cull?

Any idea why Jackass Season 1 is not in this box set, and is not available on any shopping sites?

That`s a joke, the Season 1 thing. Season 2 is Season 1. They obviously thought it would be funny to confuse their fans. Looks like it worked :D
