T2:Ultimate Edition problems

Tat Tat (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Thursday, 23rd November 2000, 11:13

Hey guys, I hope one of you can help me with this iccle problemo. It`s driving me a bit nuts.
I recently purchased the R1 version of T2:Ultimate Edition and I am unable to unlock the hidden 3rd version of the film. I`ve tried typing in the Judgement date, 82997, but sod all happens. I own the Lecson (excellent player, apart from this obviously) and was wondering if it was a problem with the player or the code.
Cheers, Tat.

There are various weird and wonderful ways of typing the code, e.g. typing it very fast, or pressing enter after each number.

To get to the third version without typing the code, play another version of the film, and then do a title select on your player, and select title 3. Return to the menu and you can then set up sound options etc. for the third version.

I have this film on R1 and the code 82997 works fine on my Pioneer 525, when on the menu screen make sure you have selected the special edition so that mission profiles etc. appears below and enter the code slowly, after each number the words THE FUTURE IS NOT SET appear on the right hand side (one word after each key press) then extended special edition should show up. Hope this helps.

Thanks guys, the press number and then enter worked just fine. Pity that the tacked on ending is such a cop out.

Just to add .. i have tried this on both the LG and the Aiwa and the " PLAY EXTENDED SPECIAL EDITION " works fine using the code.

You must be in the right place though " SPECIAL EDITION " before keying in the code
