Page 1 of Harry Potter Disc 2 Problems??

Anyone else having problems with disc 2? It just won`t play at all on my Pioneer DV-530. Took it back to WHSmith`s and they say loads are having problems.

i have a warfedale m5 and the disc plays perfectly,it will be interesting to see if anyone else is having problems,but as yet i have not heard one complaint.
have you exchanged the disc yet?

I had a problem with disk 2 also, i got to the pick a wand part but as soon as i did the dvd would lock up (no button would work - on the player or the remote ! )
I bought my copy from asda , and desided to have a refund because some friends had problems with disk 2 as well (they got there`s from hmv and w h smiths)

i purchased the wide screen dvd and have a awia xd-dv370 dvd player

It seems that the same problem has happened in Germany, probably because disc2 is made for the whole of europe. Warner Germany have installed a helpline where people can get their discs exchanged and also get details about how to get to the eastereggs. What does that have to do with the UK? Well if the german branch of Warner reacted the UK branch won`t take long to come up with a solution. Just keep phiooning them up or something.

We are also having problems with Disc 2. My daughter`s Mitsubishi BD30DVD keeps saying `No disc- please insert playable disc`. Our main Grundig GDV620HT freezes half way through the menu screen with jumping sound! and our Hewlett Packard Pavilion home PC with a DVD player and DVD writer has the same problems.

We took the disc back to WH Smiths 3 times now (4 copies in all!!) and they are all the same.The local branch now suggest that we take the matter up with Warner but we have been unable to get a phone number or an address. Can anybody help?

i work in Sainsbury`s,& we`re getting loads of copies back for this reason.....disc 2 problems

Me too! We have an LG 4750. Disc 2 freezes when buying a wand. The only way out of it is to switch the machine off at the wall!

I thought I`d better try ours after reading all these posts, because we hadn`t tried disk 2 yet. But it all played ok on our Dansai 852.
