Page 1 of This Forum is dead!
Gaming and Consoles Forum
This Forum has never really taken off, i think it would have been better left in the General forum.
People ask questions then dont answer you back when you post replies, also its filled with the same repeated questions.
I was hoping for a bit of Chit Chat with fellow gameplayers but it just is,nt happening in this Forum.
The average answer to any topics being posted is 0-2 answers.
When it was in the General Forum there was usually someone to comment on a post whether they were a gamer or not....
Anybody else got any views on this?

Yeah, its dead m8!
I prefer reading the forums rather than replying to be honest (Im lazy and cant be @rsed to type!).
Noone seems to post anything of interest lately- although I did reply to a few when it was in the general forum.
Im bored of consoles at the moment - nothing of interest has come out to make me want to buy it - Ive gone back to playing Pro Evo (PS2), and Monkey Ball.
I bought Final Fantasy 10, but couldnt be bothered to finish it, as the last part did my head in!
I just want Resident Evil to come out as I cant play import games.....
I agree. Too few people posting here, and it`s never really taken off. Possibly because of the tenuous link to dvd?

I agree I was expecting nostalgic chats about master systems and snes`. But alas no!!
Ahhh - the Master System!
Takes me back that does!.... Super Hang On, and Rocky - what a game that was!
Right here`s a question. At uni I spent many-a-day not in lectures playing a sideways scrolling shooter. You were a man/robot with various shooting weapons you could pick up. thisng was the game started - you had no armour - one hit and you were dead. then by the second level...you had a suit of hard as nails body armour - massive weapons. No one could touch you and you could walk the rest of the game with relative ease. Probably why it`s one of only 3 video games I`ve ever completed.
What was it called?
Sounds a bit like ESWAT, think that`s what it was called.
May have been Turrican. What platform and when roughly ?
It was definitely ESWAT by Sega. I believe it was originally an arcade game, however it was also released on the Sega Megadrive. I have a copy at home, which I still play from time to time. The first two levels, you`re cop, working your way through a city, then a jail. On level three, you get a robo-suit upgrade, which allows you to collect five different weapon upgrades in additional to your machine gun.
It`s a really cool game and I reckon it could benefit from a 3-D update for the PS2 or Gamecube.
Ironic isn`t it???
