Page 1 of Who is getting Revenge of the Sith tomorrow? (any platform)

Title says it all. Not all movie cash-ins are bad. The Lord of the Rings games were fun, Spider-Man 2 was great. ROTS has had good buzz from previews.

I`m tempted. I`m also tempted by the DS version, because of those 3D flying sections... they remind me of Rogue Squadron :D

But I`m gonna wait for the reviews (although I`m extremely weak when it comes to Star Wars).

Well after TPM and Obi-Wan games there isnt really any chance of me getting them. To be fair, Pod-Racer was quite good on the N64, but as far as movie tie ins go, unless they are produced by Ocean, im not interested any more. I havent played a single good movie tie-in since 1989......

What about Goldeneye, and Lord of the Rings wasn`t too bad. Im gona wait a few weeks - may rent - and no doubt it will discounted once the hype is over.

Chronicles of Riddick is a decent movie tie-in. The Jedi Knight games are good too, but not direct tie-ins of course.

Supposedly ROTS hs about 15mins of the actual film in it. :p

Chronicles of Riddick was based on the character not a film. Same with the Jedi Knights (both were good though ;)).

LOTRs games varied wildy in quality and Goldeneye was based more around the film than on the film. But I will give you that one. More enjoyable than the actual movie.

I have been playing the ROTS game for a few days now and it is nothing like Obi-Wan thank god, it is actually a good game which isnt too hard but isnt too easy either, you will probaley die a few times on Dooku but all this does is improve your skills, only problem is that it is a little short, 17 levels but you could probaley complete the whole game in 3 or 4 hours if you wanted too.

Beware it has major spoilers, not only goes it feature the main events in the film but it also includes film footage such as the space battle over courscant, mace fighting palpatine and obi-wan giving baby luke to Aunt Beru

Actually, I love Star Wars games, pure novelty value alone keeps me entertained.

People like you are the reason they keep making crap like SW: Battlefronts, Galaxies and Super bombad Racing!

I always liked Ghostbusters on the ZX Spectrum. :D
