Page 1 of Pre Ordering?

Hi, i have never pre ordred a game, thinking of ordering forza motersport 2 from play.com. when will i get it, just wondering if i would get it on the day of release or have to wait a couple of days, Thanks :)

You used to get it a few days early, maybe even a week.

I don`t think it`s that good anymore though, I think you usually get it for release day. I haven`t pre ordered a game in a while though, I must admit there is nothing worse though when you`ve got a new game on order and absolutly nothing to do on a weekend and it doesn`t turn up as it would have been much better off to pay the extra £3 to guarantee it.

I think people are starting to realise that pre ordering online often gets games earlier, than the `street date`

It`s nice to see that with Forza if you preorder you get a code to access a unique car from the market place.

and the limited edition actually has 3 extra cars, better than pre ordering and finding the shops overloaded with them on launch day and nice to see a collectors edition with something a bit special.

Ok thanks i didnt relise if you preorder you get access to a unique car, I dont think im going to order the collectors edition though. I wasnt sure wich to get forza or CM Dirt i think forza will have more depth and be better multiplayer, so im off to order it thanks lads 8)

Last time I preordered a game from Play (though it was about 4 years ago) it turned up on the Tuesday AFTER release date :( so I always buy in the shops now if I want a game badly

Shopto.net are aces for getting new releases to you well before the street date; I had Final Fantasy XII in my hands 4 days before release.

Well i decided to order with game had a £5 off code from a can of fanta last night...RESULT :p
