Whether he wants to come to Sunderland or not when your club agrees a fee for you it means your on the way out. IMO if we sign him it means Phillips is on his way. I`d much rather have Superkev.
Goals against the Mags = 4.
Mr Shearer against SAFC =1. (and it was offside!)

What the **** are Leeds playing at??? Getting rid of O`Leary and now talking of getting rid of Keane and Ferdinand!!!

Leeds have done reasonably well last season. By giving ManU Ferdinand they may as well give them the premier league, FA Cup and Champions League.

I`m a Leeds supporter but am getting worried about the 2001/2002 season. :-(

Typical mackem, team is in complete s*** order but all you worry about is how good/poor newcastle are doing. Face it no player with any ambition is going to Sunderland, George reynolds has more ambition than your lot. Enjoy your relegation struggle you SAD MACKEM BASTARD!

There`s allegedly a clause in Ferdinand`s contract which means that he can`t be sold to Man U....

toonarmy, its people like you that p*** me right off. newcastle united epitomise everything bad about modern day football fans!!!
lets get a few things straight. like ive stated in another post, 12 years ago newcastle were getting crowds of around 10000 people. now what sort of `loyal` fanbase is that to be proud of?! the fact of the matter is newcastle fans have only jumped on the footballing bandwagon since keegan took them towards the premiership. just because you all look ridiculous `wearing your colours` (snigger!) and look about about as geared up as a brickwall doesnt make you the best fans in the land as the gutter press like us to believe. also like any other footie ground nowadays youre only ever up for the big games and cant be arsed to sing after 10 mins for the small games. finally how can you say players have no ambition going to sunderland? am i missing something here?! am i right in assuming you think newcastle are a big club? get real! sure you can attract middle of the road internationals, but thats about as far as it goes, cos lets face it youll never win a trophy. now what was the last trophy you won.....?

And your post does anything to dismiss the same image for you/your team?

Pot, kettle, you`re all the same.

Personally I`m quite pleased to see any Northern team do well - none of this petty rivalry for me thanks.

And Sunderland fans are the best in the world are they?????

Your club needs to give tickets away to local schools AND reduce prices for the so-called lesser matches to get the ground anywhere near capacity!!!!!

Sunderland probably do have ambition, it just isn`t very big ambition!
You were on the verge of qualifying for Europe for two seasons ( now shown as a false position)......did you buy any big names to build on this `progress`?.....NO...and that is why you slumped back to your true position last season.

Newcastle are a big club and will ALWAYS be considered a BIGGER club than Blunderland....How many world class players are you trying to sign?.....how many have signed for you in recent years?.....

Ours: Signed Ginola, Ferdinand, Asprilla, Robert, Shearer, Given, etc..
Linked with Rivaldo......does this not prove the difference in ambition between Newcastle and your so-called *big* club?????

Accept it, Your always gonna be considered the poor neighbours down the road......CHRIST, even Middlesbrough show more ambition than Blunderland!!!!!!

S.M.B.!!!!!!!!!
