DVD Reviewer Adverts (again) SIGH :(
Surely I can`t be the only one who`s sick to death of that poxy freeserve pop-up advert.
I`ve kept quiet as long as I can because I realise the site needs advertising revenue. But enough is enough. I wasn`t interested in Freeserve before the advert, but you can be damn sure I am now utterly 100% against the stupid ISP now. It pops up 2 or 3 times per visit. It doesn`t just pop up the once, whether you kill the window or not. That`s 2 or 3 extra windows with the same advert. It`s been running for weeks now. Not just a short-lived campaign.
Argh poxy poxy poxy rant rant rant...

pop-up ad? The last pop-up I saw was Willow and this was ages ago. Are you sure it`s Reviewer that`s launching Freeserve ads? I`m on site every day, several times a day and don`t see it at all.

yeah its a pain, pops up on my screen too .................

Change your browser security settings to "prompt" whenever an ActiveX control is launched. You can then decide whether or not to run flash components - I presume the freeserve ad is one, as i`ve not been getting it.
I`m not getting it either.

Search for pop up stopper from panicware. Never see another pop up again.

or you could click on it and help the nice guys at DVD reviewer keep the site going.

Actually its been getting on my tits too, I`ve spoken to our ad people about it but have yet to have a reply back.
We genuinely don`t want to irritate readers with adverts they aren`t interested in, and the fact it comes up everytime and isn`t limited to three showings must devalue its impact.
I may even not wait for a reply and remove it later today from the main pages it is on.
Is it because your bookmark is to dvd.reviewer.co.uk? Mine, for example is straight to General Forum page..
