Page 1 of Pc Question

Not knowing much about pc`s i thought i would try my luck with a question for you guys, you always seem to help me outh with DVD`s!

I have a pc with a QDI Legend Brillianx 1s - p61440bx, im running a pentium 2 450mhz with 64meg ram

I want to extend the ram and have 2 more slots, i hace read the booklet and it say that it runs 66/100 bus, 66 with p2 and 100 with p3, does this mean i can only put 66mhz ram in? What would happen if i put 100 in?

Also it says i can only put up to 128mb unless its 16 bit chip then it will take 256 but not an 8 chip 256?

Im even confusing myself typing this, i got the above statement from the FAQ on QDi website?

And i thought RAM was a piece of stuff you put in your pc not this complex piece off electronics!

If you put 100mhz ram in it`ll just run at 66mhz on your machine, so don`t worry about it.

I`m not certain (didn`t know about 8/16bit before), but probably all ram now is 16bit.
