Just bought new digital camera - advice on best low cost photo quality printer please.
I have just bought the Canon Ixus V2 digital camera and I am now looking to replace my old Canon Bubble jet printer. I have been looking at the Epson 830 but would appreciate any other suggestions. Thanks.

£29.99??? Is that not for a cartridge?
Could do worst than try to get the Epson 895 from argos for 89.99. It`s in the sale at half price. See the bargain forums. Might be hard to track down as it`s been on offer since the 26th Dec.
Rocky..

Owing both a Epson Photo 790 and a mid-range HP inkjet there`s not a lot between them in quality, on decent paper up to A4 size imho, but by God the difference in the running costs of replacement cartridges is enormous.
Epson, although a bit noisier, every time.

I would get any Epson Photo printer, they are very very good. The Photo ones have 6 colour inks (two shades of cyan and magenta, plus the normal yellow and black) which give a much richer tonal range. I think the 830 is the cheapest.

Thanks everyone, it looks like the Epson for me.

I do like Epson and have a 760 which is very good. The trouble now is all the Epson range use chipped cartridges which cost more.
I see the Canon S330 got a good review as is listed as £80 so proberbly can be found a bit cheaper. Uses cheap ink as well.
Found it here for £75 plus delivery.
