Page 1 of FA Cup draw
General Forum
The giants have been drawn against each other again which I was hoping for. However, disappointed with our [Wolves`] draw away at Southampton, I guess being drawn at home 4 times in a row would be pretty lucky though. It gives us a chance though, whereas if we had got Arsenal they would be almost unbeatable. Southampton should be fairly happy and so should the Hornets who will have a good chance of stinging Burnley or the (ex)-cottagers.
Leeds have a chance to set the record straight after they were cut down by the Blades earlier this term in the league cup.
Arsenal v Chelsea
Southampton v Wolves
Watford v Burnley or Fulham
Sheff Utd v Leeds
Fingers crossed it just might be our year.
*Keeps fingers crossed for Sheffield United*
Well Southampton away is a bad draw for us, and one I don`t think we`ll overcome. The trophy will obviously goto the winner of Arsenal & Chelsea, but I think there`s a team from the Nationwide in the final this year. Which would of course, mean Europe seeing as the winners of the cup more than likely will be involved in the Champions League.
As happy as i am being an arsenal fan at the moment, we are not getting much luck in the draws. at least it means that we can knock all the competiton out before the finally, then probably lose to a nationwide team!!! are well, looks like we might just have to settle for winning another major cup in manchester (champions legaue to the unaware).
roll on the gunners supremacy!!
I hope Chelsea kick your smug little Arsenal butt all over Highbury LOL
Really hope Leeds get the cup.
The irony of it - talks in October of relegation and now talks of winning the cup. Good to see Venables holding the FA Cup again!

gonna put a fiver on s`oton.....
boogie - I don`t think you need to worry about losing to a nationwide team in the final if you can beat the manchester scum with a weak team.
What p***es me off as a Blackburn supporter is that we beat Arsenal, Man U and Leeds in the league this season and we went out to Sunderland. I`m still mad about losing to a team who will be in division 2 come 2004.
Anyway, good luck to ya (as if you need it).
"we are not getting much luck "....You must be kidding most of this season you`ve played 12 men against 10. Try winning teams on a level playing field.
