Page 1 of How much money do you spend on DVD`s a week?

hey everybody on average i spend 30 to 40 a week on buying or renting dvds. What about you?

Normally i`ll spend £20-£25 a week on DvD`s. Since Thursday of last week i have spent around the £230 mark. In saying that though, i paid £75 for 3 OOP Disneys and £30 on Angel Season 1 R1.

Before I lost my previous job, i was doing £100 a month. Nothing serious, you understand, i could handle it. But in the meantime, i ahven`t bought anything since december

Averaged out it`s not too bad, but sometimes I`ll go daft and spend £200 on DVDs in a week.

I`d say over £100 a month.

I was made redundant a two years ago, but now I`m back on me feet, after movin up north and been tempin all over Leeds for a year, before finally landing a job at Asda last year.

So I`m doin catch up at mo- gawd theres just so many dvds I haven`t got.

I buy a batch of DVDs once a month - usually three, so around £25 a month. Seems low, but then remember that a wonderful perk of working for this site is receiving, on average, 5 discs per month from Reviewer. In total that makes around 8 a month then.

Perhaps about £30 a month on buying DVDs. Since Christmas where I spent tonnes more, I`ve slowed down and have been more into back catalogue than new titles. By the time I`ve bought the old ones I want, the newer ones are then coming into the sales so I seem to stick to the sales! Plus, I don`t want to buy too many and not have the time to watch them. I`ve been there and playing perpetual catch-up isn`t fun!

I also source a lot of second hand discs from Computer Exchange where discs are dirt cheap and the quality is quite good.

I don`t know about weekly, but in a month about £70 as of recent.

But I`ve been finding out recently that there are no DVD`s to rent that I haven`t seen before simply because I see 95% of them in the cinema. I suppose this is a cross between invitations to industry/press screenings and the UGC Unlimited pass.
