The Music score is one of the most underated and in many cases unsung:P hero of a movie. And can sometimes be part of it`s down fall.
Even though The Lost World made a lot of money it was never considered as good as the original. Barry Norman even said the score was complete pants! Which went well with the moth eaten script.
heres 10 of my favourite`s (No real order)
1. Donnie+Lefty (Main Theme from Donnie Brasco)
2. Jurassic Park (Main Theme)
3. Glory (Storming the fort)
4. Lifeforce (Mancini`s excellent but misplaced score?)
5. The Mission (Main Theme)
6. Good Fellas (Claptons Layla solo/Piano piece)
7. Return of the Jedi (Its a Trap!)
8. The Phantom menace(main theme)
9. Millers crossing (irish theme)
10. Last of the mohicans (finale)
anyone have any of the own favourites or even music that was crap or out of place?
1. Star Wars (whole bloody thing, could listen to the CD of the soundtrack all day and not get bored)
2. Indiana Jones (once again pretty much the whole thing)
3. Jaws (hay guess what, whole thing again)
Notice a pattern? John Williams scores from late 70`s and early 80`s were his best.
Hang on a minute shepo surely your not saying John Williams could take
Ennio Morricone?
Surely thy Jest?
The score to `Scent of a Woman` is probably my favorite.
Forgive me if I don`t take the bait on this one and turn yet another good thread into a slanging match. :)

Hearing The (mighty) Fall on Silence of the Lambs was a stunner (`Hip Priest`, when Jodie Foster is in Buffalo Bill`s house in the dark)
and Moby doing the biz in the finale of `Heat` still sends shivers up my spine !
Aye.
1) The Thing - Ennio Morricone damn near made me wet myself!
2) Pulp Fiction - So good I even bought the CD. Sweet
3) Fight Club - The song off the main titles is fantastic. I listen to that all the time. It rocks.
