Page 1 of Configuring MMS on sony ericsson t610 HELP!

Just bought a new sony ericsson t610 on O2 and im very pleased with it. One problem though is that my friends have been sending me picture msgs and for some reason i am unable to open them! The phone keeps telling me that configuration of MMS is required. It then asks me to enter a message server address. I dont know what address to put here and i dont want to start messing up the phone!

Can anybody help?

with vodafone you can go to the web site and get the mms settings sent to the phone- i presume this would be the same for O2?
either that or you can call the o2 line and they will send you the settings.
Just save them to your mobile when they arrive via text.
This is the same for wap settings too...

I`ve got a Siemens SL55 mobile with O2 and I can confirm you do have to phone O2 to get the option for MMS turned on. If I remember rightly you have to call them and for your GPRS settings to be enabled so that you can use MMS on your mobile.

Its weird that phones don`t have them enabled by default to be honest.

I tried the O2 website and found that you could get them to send me the settings i needed.
