Page 1 of These forums must be really good.....

Its occured to me that despite the tail off from my early mass dvd buying, I come to this forum more often than ever (indeed 1100 odd posts will confirm this).

I really was buying DVDs like mad this time last year, but now I buy probably 2 per month as opposed to 10-15. This is mainly down to me getting right back into music in a big way, all my would be DVD money goes on records and CD`s. Music magazines are bought now instead od DVD magazines.

Anyway I`m rambling, my point is I still visit this site for the conversation and company, so I`m having a beer in honour on DVD Reviewer. Keep up the good work chaps and chapesses. This is the best place on the web.

p.s. I do still love film, and my DVD`s and my home cinema setup (for which I`m still paying).

I`m with ya, rich.

I`ve completely spent out on DVDs and very rarely buy any nowadays, preferring to rent them instead, rather than just buying new ones for the sake of it.

Mind you, I have to come here loads of times every day, cos it`s my job.

But yes, I love it here - miles better than the gestapo-like DVD Forums where the most quoted statements are "moving to..." and "Thread closed". ;)

Yes indeed

2 years on and i still have an unconditional love for this veritable joy fest of a site.

Also, just like Clayts, i have to visit to keep the place clean and update my column.

And also as Clayts says, (whom, if it wasn`t for this site - i`d never have had the pleasure to meet or work with, how is your lav mate?), it is miles better, far more friendly and far less anal and beaurocratic than the almost school like DVD Forums.

So, a beer it is for the best site EVER!!

But yes, this is a great site and the one I visit most often. I sometimes forget just how large the site is because I only come to the forum section regularly.

If everyone keeps doing what they are doing then this site will remain the best on the web. Well, second best after my legions of jazz mag like web sites :o ;)

I would say that this its one of the best sites on the net for airing views, getting information & answers, pooling experiences and getting info on the lattest DVD news & reviews, While not being too over-regulated like some forums that have severe rules like Prisoner Cell Block H :/

PS do I get a free DVD film for extreme groveling.

I came to this site to get advice on what player to buy and when I got one, I wanted the multi-region hack. Then I found a friendly community not only intrested in DVD`s but who all enjoyed shooting the breeze and having a laugh with each other.

I never went to the other DVD forums so I can`t say anthing about them. All I know is I enjoy being part of this site.
