Disney era preferences...

I`ve recently watched `101 Dalmations` and `The Fox and the Hound` with my kids and thoroughly enjoyed them.

So which is it for you:

Snow White/Dumbo/Pinnochio/Robin Hood/Lady and the Tramp/Fox and the Hound/Aristocats etc etc

OR

Lion King/Atlantis/Pocahontas/Treasure Planet/Sinbad/Lilo and Stitch etc etc

(I`ve omitted Disney/Pixar films like Toy Story, Monsters Inc & Finding Nemo on purpose as I think they`re in a category all on their own and are the absolute business)

Classics:
Jungle Book
Aristocats
Sleeping Beauty
Snow White

A bit maudlin in places:
Dumbo
Pinocchio

Anything made before 1975 is pretty good. "Robin Hood" was the cut-off point in the 1970s - everything after that was written by committee. Quality picked up again in the 90s with Aladdin and B&B, but some stuff (Little Mermaid, Hunchback) can be a bit mawkish. Depends how sensitive you or the kids are. ;)
