I signed up to a free trial account with claranet and use the 020 7 access number which I can use with my T-Mobile free minutes. Can`t seem to find the 020 7 number on their site but I will post if you take up this option. Must warn you that access is reaaaaalllllyyyyy slow using a mobile.. 9.6kbps to be precise :o

Another option is purchasing a GPRS card for your laptop. Access would be slightly faster but cost may be more expensive depending on GPRS cost on your tariff and amount of usage.

I use a similar thing with Orange on Freetime mins to Claranet, if your phone supports HCRS or something (higher connect speed) 28K (half speed of a normal 56K) for another £5 a month to Orange
