Page 1 of Any other Telewest victims out there?

Apparently somebody blew the main fuse at Telewest Headquarters and the entire Cable TV network`s down. Fortunately the Internet Servers are in a completely different building, or I wouldn`t be able to post this. Thank God for DVDs.

just after 10pm everything went apart from the net access.

Gave up trying to reset the cable box @ 11:30pm :/

I was told at 11pm last night after holding for 45minutes that the main Telewest building had flooded and TV was out nationwide. Watched Clooney`s Ocean`s Eleven instead - forgot what a good movie that is!

Their site, Clayts me old mate, was offline until this morning. Fortunately their servers are in a different building otherwise internet access would have been out as well and I wouldn`t have been able to post this thread in the first place. :/

sky yes, but given the probs i had with adsl, i wouldn`t go back if it was free, never had any probs with ntl cable tho,
