Page 1 of experience needed

ok here`s the problem i dont have much of a clue about dvd players,have been reading up on the net and now know about region1 or region2.
so from this list below please can someone tell me for ease of converting to region 1 player the best and best value .
any info would be greatly appreciated as i wnat to purchase as soon as possible, when i say convert to reg1 i mean through keypresses not soldering or anything which might involve taking machine apart.

For your price range i`ve noticed that the Wharfedales 750 is absent from your list. This machine pretty much wins hands down in any budget dvd reviews.

I have a Matsui dvd-110 and I am very pleased with mine.
You can make it multi-regional by doing one simple hand set operation.
Mine plays both R1 and R2 fine.
Every disc I have throw at it has played fine.
I believe it to be a truly under-rated player.
