Sherwood 6095RDS, what connectors?

Chris Horton (Harmless) posted this on Saturday, 12th August 2000, 20:21

I am looking at adding a Sherwood 6095RDS to my current system which consists of:

1 Panasonic TV - 1 Scart Connector, Video, Audio Connectors
1 NTSC Mono Video Player - Currently connected to TV with Scart.
1 Pioneer 525 DVD - Currently connected to TV through Audio and Video.
1 Surround Kit - Consisting of 2 Jamo front speakers, 1 Wharfedale Centre speaker, 1 Wharfedale Sub-Woofer, 2 Jamo Rear speakers.

What I would like to know is what sort of connectors would I need to connect all this kit to the Sherwood 6096RDS. Any help would be greatfully appreciated, and would really help me out!!

Cheers, Chris Horton

Hi
To set this up all you would need(providing you have speaker cable) is the digital connector between the dvd player and the amp. Optical or coaxial.
For best picture quality if your player has RGB out connect the player to the tv with a good quality scart cable.

If your tv has audio out connect this to the amp to get dolby prologic from surround sound tv programs.

Hope this helps
James
