Cancer - let`s fight it together (DVD Reviewer anti-cancer effort recognised)
As many of you know, DVD Reviewer has a large team of users dedicated to using their computers to fight the scourge that is cancer. I wanted to bring all your attentions to the fact again ;) , but also to point out if you haven`t noticed that there have been new developments as highlighted in my latest column - our efforts have been recognised, and I would like to thank everyone involved for their ongoing support on behalf of United Devices and Oxford University :)
We always need new members though, so if you don`t know what it`s all about then look here - it`s completely free and takes no effort, just your PC computes data in its spare time.
For those already in the team, I just want to thank again everyone for their efforts, and particularly those in the `leading pack`:
rudgej
Sean McKeown
Paul Hodgson
J Eric Cooper
sgninnej.ttam[at]ku.ca.xo.cjs
Daniel Bates
reeder
John Willis

However, other new additions to the team are also crunching madly away, and I`d like to recognise the following for particularly successful efforts despite only joining the team relatively recently:
thewrabbit
W G Booth
Alan Titherington
Happy HKV
We are now averaging about 100 results returned per day, while we were only returning on average about 25 this time last year !
Finally, I can`t resist highlighting (competition is alway good !) the comparison between our results and the DVD Forums Thinkers:

downloaded the software no probs, installed ok but when the initial screen comes up (ud registration) i typed a password/email addy and made sure the "click here if you are an existing user" tab was unticked, but all i get is "the user name/password you have provided does not match any of our records" which is obvious as i`m trying to register now :) is there somewere else i should register first, or am i just being thick :D

There should be somewhere on that screen to register as a new user though ?

Ogster,
I had that initially when I tried to use WRabbit as my name. Someone else already had it registered, so it just gave me the incorrect password stuff.
Try using a different name. Check out what names are in use by going here.

One time my cousin Walter got this cat stuck in his ass. True story. He bought it at the local mall, so the whole fiasco wound up on the news. It was embarassing for my relatives and all. But the next week, he did it again. Different cat, same results, complete with a trip to the emergency room. Then, last week, I saw him in the pet store. He was buying another cat! I said, "Walt, what the hell are you doing, you know you`re just gonna get this cat stuck up your ass too, why don`t you knock it off?" And he says to me, "Brodie, how the hell else am I supposed to get the gerbil out?" My cousin was a weird guy ! Brodie (Jason Lee) Mallrats

Thanks for reminding me. Formatted the PC last weekend & haven`t put the Agent back in yet. I`ll do it tonight.
