Page 1 of Best ways to advertise my premium rate number?

I`ve just set up a premium rate sex line for the first time and i`m now looking to advertise it. I`m completely new to this business so has anyone got any knowledge of this field.
Any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated.

geoff1, you really do make some bizarre threads on this forum. Not very long ago you weren`t trying to get in contact with that "virginity for sale" girl weren`t you?

Give us some info on the sex line then geoff1... who`s doing the calls - you, your partner, other employees??

In reply to the person who said i should of thought of this before hand, it only costs £100 to set up a service so it`s not as if i`ve jumped in at the financial deep end.
Also i`m only in charge of advertising, the girls are hired in by someone else.
So has anyone got any sensible suggestions?

How about knocking up one of those tiny, crappy ads you see in the back of loaded with a generic blonde in a bra.

Maybe with the title

`Geoffs Sex line!`

each magazine has the phone number of their advertising dept. Choose you target magazine, phone them up and they will walk you through the process.

Other than that you could try the old classic `Card in a Phonebox`.

But tell me Geoff, why would i want to phone your sex line? What makes it better than sex line A? And why would Pervert B phone it rather than his regular spanking school girls hotline?

These are the questions you must ask yourself for an effective campaign!

It always makes me laugh when you see those phone sex line ads in the back of FHM, and they`ve used a relatively well known model in the ad, like Jo Guest or an early picture of Jordan. My advice to you geoff, would be to `keep it real`. ;)

That is unless if the girls truely are munters like we`d assume them to be.

I`ve got a horrible feeling it`s just going to be geoff in a dress. :o

Someone I know wanted to do this, and I suspect geoff is doing the same thing.

Clever people advertise in magazines offering to do all of it for you, provide the number and the girls, and all you do is provide the money.

I would say these people are clever because they have transferred all of the risk to you, and bring in a nice tidy profit themselves. Some of their customers might get their money back in calls, but others most likely won`t on the basis there are so many premium rate chat lines. But either way they make money.

As I say, clever people. :)
