Page 1 of Stupid things people have said

I went for a quick pint after work and a lorry drove past the pub with a massive freezer on the back, one of the people I was drinking with said that lorry must be delivering the freezer to a giant then his girlfriend said why would a giant want to live in a freezer. My mate said the giant wouldn`t live in the freezer he`d keep his food in it I was cracking up for ages after
(I guess you had to be there)

Anyone else know someone who`s said something really stupid

I was going to start this thread earlier today. I was watching hulk today and when the pilot flys to the edge of earth she said "why cant we breath in space"

Stupid as it may sound, it`s not actually that stupid a thing to say.

There is stacks of literature about Britain joining the US dollar, so America joining the Euro is not possibly that absurd an idea.

A fewe years ago (17) I went on a school ski trip, as we were getting out of the coach at the resort one of the girls was heard to say:

When I was in school one kid told another, in plain hearing of the entire common room, to come over to his house at lunch and not to forget the oil based lubricant (or something similar). Apparently they were making models of some kind... In any event, it was definitely a stupid thing to say in front of a bunch of seventeen and eighteen year olds.
