Page 1 of VCD`s anyone?
General Forum
Does anyone know where l can get REAL CHEAP VCD`s? l got "What Lies Beneath" for £12 in China town ages ago but only watched it this week. lt came out a long while back, well before dvd version.
lf l saw a new film l wanted to see, not likely to want to watch over and over l`d pick up a VCD. But its got to be REALLY CHEAP or l may as well pay the extra for the dvd.
any ideas??

THANKS FOR THE INTEREST! MORE THAN I THOUGHT!
What`s the quality like?
I think you`ll find it`s a pirate copy. I`m pretty sure they don`t put new releases on VCD anymore.
Why anyone would invest in a quality DVD player to play crap quality pirate copied VCDs (or official VCDs for that matter!)...is beyond belief !!!
quite a good place to buy vcds are :
www.coolvcd.com

Do these PS2 backups need a chipped PS2 to play ?
I know the old PS needed to be chipped.....
yes the PS2 does need a chip. You can get them from http://www.consolechips.com/ps2-newmod.html for £19, don`t know if this is good?
Or do a search on yahoo for "PS2 chips", it comes up with lots of different websites and some of them have diagrams on how to fit them. I don`t know how easy this is because I haven`t got a PS2, waiting for the Microsoft X Box!!
I have some VCD`s for exchange if anyone has any recent ones???
