Page 1 of Best place for kitchen appliances?

Hi folks,
I`m moving into a new house in a few weeks time and need to get the kitchen kitted out with washing machine, cooker, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Can anyone recommend the best place to get them all from that might offer a discount for buying the lot in one place? What are unbeatable.co.uk or empiredirect.co.uk like? How quick are they to deliver?
Any advice much appreciated.

I used www.hot-appliances.co.uk for a load of stuff and they have been excellent

I had a nightmare with Empire Direct over a freezer i bought from them recently - i would stay pretty clear.
My mate moved recently and fitted out his entire kitchen with gear from http://www.rtd.uk.com/ and had no probs whatsoever - would highly recommend them :D The website doesn`t have loads of pics, but they have got loads of top quality gear at reasonable prices, so if you look at makers` websites and work out what you want first.....
P.S.
The Fisher & Paykel fridge comes VERY VERY VERY highly recommended... http://www.fisherpaykel.com/uk/

RE: Best place for kitchen appliances?
try going down your local specialist supplier, they can be surprisingly good. My Mum and Dad recently got a new cooker from Dixons/Currys/Comet (can`t remember which, all the same anyway) as it was the best price they found anywhere, and had no end of problems.......non-deliveries, no fitter etc etc. Our local specialist appliance shop did the same cooker for only about £20 more, and would have saved them loads of hassle. Ihave to admit, I don`t mind paying a bit more for good service, and with a local shop there;s someone to see if anything does go wrong.
