Page 1 of Identify this REALLY old music video

There`s a small memory in the back of my mind about this vid. It`s about 20 years old and I think i remember watching it on Saturday Swap Shop. It was basically a bunch of `androids` sitting on this platform with classical instruments, playing an electro-version of an old classic (can`t remember which one) . All the players were obviously human, but wore masks that made them look like featureless mannequins..

The only other thing about this vid I can remember is that at some stage in the vid, the platform they were performing on rose up and went into a spaceship.

Anyone else remember this, or was Mum spiking my action man lunchbox with acid tabs?

If it`s what I`m thinking of, I remember the "robot" masks vividly - they scared the s*** out of me when I was a kid! Can`t remember what they were called, though.

I vaguely remember this, but seeing as my Mum was making me snort cocaine, it could have been that we communicated in another dimension bringing on visions of nightmare scenarios in which a strange man with a beard called Noel, held satanic rituals on Saturday mornings. Then again it may have been one morning when I woke up with a hangover and thought....."who the f***ing hell is this?" ;)

Rondo Veneziano! So they`re the buggers who scared me as a child.

Venice in Peril was the name of Thomas Dolby`s record label, IIRC - I don`t think he had anything to do with this album.
