Page 1 of The second Matrix film - Reloaded ?!

Scuttlebut has it the next Matrix film is going to be called:

The Matrix: Reloaded

Not convinced this doesn`t sound completely Dorky. Perhaps it`s a secret title while they keep the real thing under wraps ? Then again, that`s what we thought about "The Phantom Menace" and that heap o whatsit turned out to be true !!!!!

Still not sure - what does everyone think !?

I heard ages ago that they were going to call it

The Matrix: 2.0 (as in a new version of the matrix)

but I dont think they are using it, and the new Tron film has stolen that idea anyway.

I`d prefer the unimaginitive "Matrix 2" myself, at least you know where you are. They`re making another one straight away aren`t they, so what will that be called? "Matrix..Loaded again". Further sequels would then deteriorate into "Matrix..Loaded yet again" and the appaling "Matrix..you`ll never guess what`s happened!".

They are making the next two matrix films at the same time, which is pretty clever. That way if the first sequel turns out to be a dissapointment, or is not that great, at least the 2nd sequel wont be any worse!

Thus avoiding the problems with the Alien saga, probably.

Cool.

I suppose I can see the double meaning of the title - as in guns being loaded again, and The Matrix program being loaded again...

Yes it was, and you have an interesting point there:

Wizzing around the Internet, "www.reloaded.com" is taken up with the PSX game. "www.matrixreloaded.com" and "www.thematrixreloaded.com" is taken up by some book on physics...

Will they buy the URLs off people, or are they going to be a bit stuck when it comes to promotion ?!
