It doesn`t really matter though, does it - people who say hunting is part of their life are going to carry on doing it anyway - the police have already said they`re not going to try to stop it.

So - what has really been acheived? A law that no-one seems willing to enforce??

Don`t be defeatist...this is another step on the way to seeing this barbarism ended forever. I feel sure that we`ll look back in 20 years with disbelief that we allowed such activity to be carried out in the name of `sport`....

Personally I was very cheered to hear the news!! :D

And me. And i think that with it being an us and them class issue i believe that the law will be upheld, initially at least, to show the public that the upper class cant get away with (fox) murder.

Hmmm... depends on who you listen to. I`ve seen interviews with Police chiefs who`ve said they`re confident they can enforce it.

The Countryside Alliance seem to be pretty skilled at spreading misinformation to help their cause - didn`t they get their knuckles rapped by the Advertising Standards Authority a while ago for using misleading statistics?

Ah but the Countryside Alliance insist that hunting involves "working class" people as well and they could well be right. However, the law is the law and nobody should be above it, so if they choose to ignore the ban then they whoever they are should be nicked.

Well, someone has to fetch, carry and clean the schite up afterwards don`t they?

For `Countryside Alliance` read `Tory Supporters Club` affectionately known as `tossers - bunch of`. ;)

what gets me is when country folk - I`m a town boy - say that it is all about keeping down the fox population. if that is the case, why don`t i ever see a bunch of red-jacket wearing twats racing down the high street in a land rover after one of the thousands of urban foxes that live in towns?

twunts!
