Uuugghh,

Everyone ok ?

Not i. Feeling very sorry for myself today, that coupled with Jack Hammer headache and stomach like a washin` machine.... and my youngest baby (6wks) crying, my 2yr old Boy, going beserk trying to make himself dizzy while shouting nonsense, the wife drawing dirty looks, an a bathroom that tells me it still needs tiled every time i visit, which has been more frequent than usual today......

And so, HANGOVERS..... any genius like cures ? PAINKILLERS & Water aint cuttin the mustard... ( i do suffer badly anyway) AND it wasn`t a big nite we were at friends with the baby`s for dinner !!!

Help me amigos.

At the very least you could come and tile my bathroom !! :/ ?

Lots of water & a couple of bags of salt & vinegar flavoured Discos (The crisps :D )
Works everytime for me! ;)

oooh, and a roast dinner is sure to kill off any lingering effects :x

Can`#t help with the tiling, but might I suggest fresh fruit and/or lucozade for the hangover? A hangover is essentially dehydration, so anything that gets some vitamins in yer will see it off.

The pain eventually subsided around 25 tiles in. and a belly full of Chicken Soup.
Not a great day, but at least i managed somethin` !

Prevention`s better than any `cure`..
No matter how pished I am I always manage to drink water and/or a few soft drinks prior to going to bed.
I used to suffer from terrible hangovers but decided,since becoming a dad,that I had to find a fix or stop drinking as a 2 year old doesn`t give a s*** that you`re suffering and why should they ?
Since sticking to this routine I haven`t suffered a hangover in god knows how long. 8)

By just having some water before bed ?

Mibi you are joost the lucky wan. Tried, and failed. Few pints of water, wee "peece" (sandwich--!) and even went as far as a tried and tested "brufen" to top it off, then .......... because her lady-ship hates the smell of smoke i have to shower as well !!!!! ( AT 3 or 4 am!) >:(

AND STILL i am a total mess. that is an example of a quite a biggy, but even a few pints can bring on a bangin` headache.

Any doctors in the house ? Do i have an allergy?

I am fine to drink with whoever at the time, but come the `break-a-dawn" its taboggan to hurts-ville for moi.
