Who`s your bane?

The very word `celebrity` irritates me. it`s as if we ought to celebrate the fact that someone`s alive just because they`ve been on TV (just as an example..anyone who has been on Big Brother is now a `celebrity`, albeit D list..or whatever the rating is).

My mum should have been a celebrity!...too late now, but what a great person! You would have loved her :-)

However, I stray from the point..

..last 4 are suppposedly `opera` singers. If anyone can tell me in which operas they`re sung in I`d be very grateful!

However..all annoying as phucq..if you`ll pardon my Welsh.

I`m sure there are plenty more, and there have been a couple of threads on this already, but it`s nice to get it out of your system :-).

yes, fair point there Wayne...she is quite lovely :-)....but the `celebrity` factor irritates, when there are far better, and indeed lovelier singers out there who don`t get the chance.

Not really fussed but....Tim Westwood is very high up there. Was really crap when DJing the Eminem Anger Management and he is often caught slipping outta character on radio 1. Who Cares?
