KitKash Kit Kash Google trivia dvd.reviewer.co.uk

Did you know.... that if you do a Google search for kitkash there are about 9,920 entries for kitkash. www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk entries rank at 6 and 7 of the first 10 entries (that`s high, honest). Three entries for www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk fall in the first 20 results, 2 are on the prime page and the 3rd is on the 2nd page.

Of the 9,920 entries, 405 of those refer back to www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk (on a show all results search argument)

Did you also know..... that if you do a google search for kit kash there are about 46,100 entries for kit kash. www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk entries rank at 4 and 5 of the first 10 (prime) entries; there is no significant next entry (nothing on next 50 results or 5 pages)

Of the 46,100 entries, 64 referred back to www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk (on a show all results search argument)

It would be interesting to find out how many people from our site managed to get any successful bids in and how much our site has contributed towards the Kitkash kit kash campaign.

I gave in yesterday and bought me a pack of the new dark Kit-Kats yesterday and I ate them all. Gave myself toothache and probably put on 2lb.

I wonder if the successful bidder for the car will suffer in the same way? lol

hehe.. Stan... yeah well sorta, my recorder went in the shop for a rest and recon last week and it isn`t back til next Friday. I also have a week off work and been too bone idle / hot to do what I should be doing with the chores around the appartment.

But seriously... these stats are very, very significant! Useless agreed, unless you are either a shareholder of reviewer.co.uk or Nestle.

But.... even more significant is that Google results are based on hit rates, so quite apart from the entry numbers which for reviewer.co.uk are extremely high so far - it takes Google about 3 months to juggle with non-meta information.

Now what that means is that those 405 are just the current tip of the iceberg, will increase on a daily/hourly basis and the new entries themselves will rise on hitrate as they are referred to, or referred back to.

The fascinating thing here is that it is highly unlikely that anyone on this site will ever refer to them as they most likely don`t know they are there, or aren`t even interested that they are there. Yet the more that come on, the more likely they are to be read; the higher the hitrate becomes and the more available (publicised) reviewer.co.uk becomes; (and the articles written by the site users are becoming quite famous - even if they don`t know it!)

Hi - I wonder if anyone else feels cross at the Kit Kash promotion? I am left with a lot (a lot) of stale kitkats and have not had luck winning any of the auctions although I entered many and I now read that a new promo starts in Jan and we cant carry out points over.
