Prison Break

Anyone watch this new tv series on in the US? I watched the first 2 episodes and was impressed with how they can drag the storyline on so much. At first I was thinking, how long can they go with the story of breaking out of prison. The episodes depicted the harshness of prison life well and the characters are realistic, with the exception of the main character, michael, who gets himself arrested so he can break his wrongly accused brother out of jail as he is facing the death penalty. If you like movies like escape from alcatraz, you will love this, even if you didnt, this is slightly different and you might enjoy it.

American show loving Brits? Never! We Brits stick to repeats of the delightful Brideshead Revisited and Jeeves & Wooster. We`d never turn to those utterly ghastly Yanks for TV enjoyment.

In fact, what were the minds at Channel 4 thinking importing ghastly foreign trash such as Lost and the contemptable Desperate Houswives. Don`t the big-wigs at C4 realise we`d rather be eating cucumber sandwiches, discussing foreign policy and blowing boys from Eton than watch such garbage?

Tally-ho! :p

Ive just finished downloading episode 7 and based on how episode 6 ended, this one should be brilliant. This is becoming one of my favourite shows too. The cast IMO are all very good, possibly because they are all experienced, many have roles in Hollywood movies before. I recognised Sucre from 2 fast 2 furious, Robin Tunney from the craft and vertical limit. Peter Stormare obviously has been in a vast range of movies, though they are usually bit roles.

What an absolutely great episode. It has been a fantastic series with no real weak episodes but the last 2 have been excellent and stand out. T Bag really needs to die. I know FOX are notorious for cancelling great tv shows so I just hope we dont get left with an excellent half series tv show. Kitchen Confidential is also good and comes on just before this program.

Next Episode wont be until 24th October. I think there are 13 altogether. Seeing as Fox have picked it up, we can assume that the full series has been made and all the episodes should be available on DVD regardless of how many Fox decide to show. I was just really p***ed off at the way they just left Tru Calling, with only 6 episodes of season 2 released. They can never be forgiven for that because it was one of the best shows ever.
