Has anyone had any problems the last two weeks or so with this site. I have 3 dvds on order and money taken from account last monday 6/8/01 and so far no news. order confirmation recieved, however no joy yet. I have bought from this site in the past and no problem, however can`t even get an answer on their phone line, so now panicking as to whether thay have disappeared or not. Anyone throw any light on the subject, much appreciated, Mike.

Your not the only one in the boat mate, Me and a few others on the forum have voiced concern about orders with this company, Dont know whats happening with the orders, But if mine takes much longer Im gonna start kicking up a fuss.

I placed an order 2.5 weeks ago, got my first DVD this week, waiting on the second.

Phoned their custom service number (yes, someone was on the other end at 7.25 in the morning, if you cant get thru during the day). They said to give it 2 days and then phone back. The number is 0845 345 3715.

BTW : I got a conformation email the day after I placed the order.

One thing that bugs me about some DVD web sites NO ORDER TRACKING SYSTEM, good old play247 still the best IMHO.

Thanks for the replies guys, yeah I finally had them phone me back today, and they say they can`t understand that i have received no discs yet!
However I ordered 3, I only hope the Customs people aren`t holding onto them, not that they should but the amount might cause concern.

At least they have called back, mind you they got the payment from my account on 6/8/01, will wait and see what happens, keep you posted, Mike.

I ordered 5 Hong Kong Legends discs from these clowns over 2 months ago - so far my credit card has been debited for all 5 movies, I`ve received one of the dics 2 weeks after ordering, then 2 later another 2 arrived having been returned back to them because they put the wrong address on them and I am STILL waiting for the remaining two films 2 months after ordering..... my advice, avoid these guys.

Mmmmmmm, Mike, Thay usually send 2 in one pack and the other one later to avoid customs charges. But in all honesty I wont be using this company again for the sake of a quid saving, Id sooner pay the quid for recorded delivery, Like Play247 do.... Its play247 or oz from now on.

what is oz? i have ordered from play247 before, not heard of oz though....

lol.. he means the austrailian sites... ezydvd.. crave.. etc.. :0) brill prices and i have allways recieved mine 4 days after ordering. woot!

I was most interested to read your posting regarding Under18(dis)org.uk. I ordered some discs from them earlier this year including a Leeds United disc. I was charged for all the discs and had to wait four weeks before receiving the (incomplete) order. Not only had they charged me for the discs before they had them ( the Leeds disc hadn`t even been pressed!) they ignored all my e-mails. When I eventually got someone on the phone number they said I would get a refund for the Leeds disc. I was most suprised when a refund was sent via a cheque an not put onto my credit card account. To make matters worse the cheque was made out to James and not Jamie. By now I was feeling a little bit arsey so I called again and was told by a woman to present the cheque to my bank as James is the same name as Jamie anyway, good job she didn`t Christen me! I then received an e-mail a week or so later telling me that they had changed their policy and were no longer charging customers for discs until they were ready for dispatch...seems they`ve forgotten about that one! AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS!!!!

I`ve finally received the final disc from my original shipment of 5 which I ordered over 2 months ago..... needless to say I will NEVER be using these guys again.
