Lecson DVD 900 Problem

demon55b (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Thursday, 30th August 2001, 13:15

I have a Lecson DVD 900 Player which i have hacked to play region 1 DVD`s. For the last 9 months the player has worked fine and I have been very pleased with it. However recently whenever i play a Region 1 DVD it seems to be very jerky and in big Action scenes the sound becomes distorted. But with region 2 DVDs the player is its old self again. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this could be.

Just an idea but have you switched it to Pal output only on the remote by accident.
Set it back to auto or PAL 60 to play both region 1 and 2 disks.

Thank You very much that seems to have done the trick.
