Page 1 of New DVD player

Hi all,

my first post here so I thought I would start with a little advice gathering and maybe get the benefit of your wisdom???

I currently have a Samsung 709 and am looking to upgrade to something better (multi region and under £400).

Any suggestions and also where is the best place to get one online?

Have a good read through the Hardware Forum, and all the suggestions therein. You may want to state in the above thread what you want out of the machine (eg MP3 playback, VCD playback, Macrovision removal, that kind of thing).

It`s always better to stick to just one thread (the one above) in the Hardware Forum to save people answering your questions more than once. The General Forum is really a mish-mash of things that don`t really fit in anywhere else.

Good luck in your search - for that price you may want to consider something like the Toshiba SD500e which does DVD-Audio as well as standard DVD playback too.
