Page 1 of where is everyone going on holiday this year?.. pictures if possible?

I`m taking my daughter (and the wife) to Disneyworld Florida.. going the whole hogg and staying at Disney`s Animal Kingdom Lodge...

:( Rub it in why don`t you....that sounds wicked.
...I am not going on holiday this year. BUT ... saving to go to Hong Kong after I graduate next year.

ah.. no.. that`s not my intention.. (unlike the what do you drive.. here`s my car pic.. thread).. I`m just a nosey bugger who wants to see where people are going on holiday..

Our holiday this year amounts to a weekend in Plymouth next week, still, not complaining as this summer should be pretty memorable.

...haven`t been on holiday in nearly 10 years! I`d rather spend the money on my hobby and stuff for the house (...ie. 42" plasma screen soon... :D ).

If I was going soewhere, I quite fancy Universal`s Islands of Adventure (the Spidey, Hulk Dr Doom rides and merchandise etc.!).

Going to see my Mum and sister in Cornwall. Try to do a bit of diving at Falmouth while I am there. All I can really afford to do though. :-( Would love to go back to Vancouver to see my friend or Brazil to see my dad.

Just come back from Florida 8)
Hulk -the Spidey ride broke down twice and we never got to go on it!
Universal employ a lot less staff than Disney and their rides seem to break more often
I`m assured by my family that the Hulk Coaster, Dueling Dragons and Kraken(Seaworld) are awesome-so I`ll take their word for it!!
I enjoyed the Universal Studios the best-great shows(The horror MakeUp and Shrek 4D), oh and The Fear Factor Live, also great rides like BTTF and Men in Black plus the old favourites like Twister and Earthquake and of course Jaws...

Haggis -we went to Animal Kingdom and that pic of the Lodge looks fantastic-have a great time and say hello to Winnie, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet for us. No chatting up Pocahontas though...

We stayed well off site and I don`t fancy the hotels in High Season-our second week was really busy because it coincided with the Spring Break of the East Coast.

Certainly an experience but seem to have been deep fried for a fortnight. The Rain Forest Cafe and Planet Hollywood(Downtown Disney) were good and look out for some fun at Disney Interactive -also in Downtown Disney.

Next year i think it will have to be something cheaper and quieter...

Oh indeed it is (Santa Eulalia), very fond memories of that place, veeeeeeeeeeeeeery relaxing. Anyway, trying Portugal in May & then my Mrs has treat us all to a 4 day break in Berlin at the back end of August! Lived there as a kid so can`t wait to show my lad all the bits I remember & am really looking forward to seeing how it`s all changed with the East & West unifying again!
