Page 1 of What about a DVD release date summary page?

What about having a release date summary page for region 1 and 2 DVDs that is sortable by name and date.

You put a lot of work into your daily news updates, and it seems a shame not to take more advantage of the info by having it listed in a summarised format. What would be even better is hyperlinks for each film to the relevent news page (which of course would be even more work...)

Hmm - not a bad idea. I think it is something that has always been on the general Reviewer `to do` list, work permitting. To be discussed at the next meeting I think... eh Rob?!!

One ironic thing is, thats one of the things Mark Jewiss suggested way back before he joined us. We bribed him with a column to keep him quiet and he hasn`t brought it up since. :-)

It would be nice to do however, and I have a few ideas of what might be the easiest way to do it. The big question is, what releases and how far into the future do we list them?

I was meaning those releases that were mentioned on the news pages. Do you know of other releases that you`re not mentioning?!

I would say 2 - 3 months ahead..

Consider this feature officially in the planning stages. Which is great, cos we can spend lots of time thinking about it before doing any work. ;-)

I guess listing the major important titles for the next few months with the huge releases (such as Jaws, btw just found some more info on that which I`ll post tomorrow) as in the distance maybe.

Thanks Robert. I thought you were slacking there - only down to several site updates a day, you must be getting lazy! This one will keep you busy and improve an already great site.

PS Can I get one of the many review machines you must be getting for that complement?! ;-)
