I saw this -

and thought "What`s the most original fancy dress costume people have actually gone out in public in?"
Mine would have to be as a blacked-up Jimi Hendrix (not very PC I know!) complete with fake vomit on my hussar jacket!! Unfortunately - or rather fortunately, no photos are actually in existance of this, only vague memories of an enjoyable but very, very messy New Years Eve! 8)

RE: Don`t fancy yours much!!
My best one was when I went as Larry Blackmon from 80`s pop sensation, Cameo. That is where the Cod piece came from. I do not know if any photos now exist. But at the end of the night my tights were ripped and my knackers were hanging out. Or so I am told.

It`s not easy being different. It`s not easy being cool....but somehow I manage....
by the strapping 6 foot 4 inch tall man who had inflicted the ripping and removed said knackers from the tights???

Word up!
Ha ha, class! :D
But I bet you were sensible enough not to "black-up" though?

I once went to a do dressed as a fencepost - wrapped my torso in barbed wire (over about 10 tee shirts). Can`t think why I didn`t score that night.
surprised you werent arrested for carrying a dangerous weapon
Didn`t any of the fellow revellers take a fence? (ouch!)
Dressed up as the Crow for a night out in Liverpool one halloween, then ended up in a dance club watching a break dancing competition.
Apart from that it was a milk bottle at a holiday camp when I was 5...
