Cheers, that was indeed the problem, my temporary internet pages cache was full.

Picture file question

I`m somewhat of a computer novice. When I try to save an image, say a jpeg file, it will only save the image as a bitmap file, have I changed the settings by mistake?

Can anyone suggest a free program that actually does what it purports to do - hide`s an IP address and substitutes it for another for when you post on messageboards etc.

I`ve tried "Hide Your IP address" but it`s pants.

Surprised to see that the most recent cd I ordered is showing as being despatched today. :o

I also managed to get through on the 0800 cusomer services line, was told that they could not advise me on the waiting time for other two orders (made early last month) so I decided to cancel them and get a refund.

Still waiting for three cds, two of which were ordered in early June.

The 0800 customer services number in Larnaca is now dead, this was working the other week, I was told that they "experiencing some problems", when I said do you mean the fire?, the customer services chap replied "yes sir, we ask that you please bare with us".

I`m not ordering anything else from them until I receive my outstanding orders, regardless of how many £1.00 vouchers they email me. I`d strongly advise that others do likewise.

It doesn`t look good. :/

Cheers for the advice, guys. After a couple of days, it`s working fine again, with the connection quality back to `excellent`. Weird.

Help with LimeWire please

I have the basic (free) version of LimeWire v. 4.8.1 on my PC. I use it every day, but for the last couple of days the Quality indicator keeps showing as "Connecting" all the time and doesn`t alter, preventing me from actually doing a search.

I`ve had a look at the FAQs but no help there.

Any ideas folks?

Problems with last.fm?

Has anyone else been having problems with the last.fm site?

My weekly music chart - which is usually updated on a Monday morning - is still showing last weeks and the site keeps crashing all the time. :/

It`s ok, not as good as "Hot Fuss". I was really disappointed when I first got it, certain tracks have grown on me since, but it just hasn`t got the same energy and quality of tracks as their debut.

RE: `Jericho` New US series starts tonite

It was certainly no classic, but thought it was well made, watchable stuff, fairly generic but with decent production values. The fact that the first episode opened and closed with two of my favourite songs of recent years - "All These Things That I`ve Done" and "Run" - made me like it slightly more. ;)
