It doesn`t surprise me given...
[*] the way news of new (good) shows is spread (ie globally on the Internet)
[*] the delays in getting those (often US based) shows to other countries (Heroes is a prime example)
[*] the fact that its often now easier to download and watch at your convenience rather than try to record yourself
[*] that when you find a show you like you often find the entire season has already been broadcast elsewhere so you don`t have to wait weeks to see each new episode

And I`m sure there are other reasons...that`s why things like BBC`s new online service will hopefully make things better.

Im currently downloading the enitre series of HD Heroes. Its an 8gig file and its going slower than a motherf***er. Im sure my ISP has started traffic shaping.....

But i think there will be a big drop in that since all the big guns have finished. Im predicting porn will make a comeback.

Seriously, though there is so little on TV at the moment I bought myself one of these just to tease the cat.

I made an assault course for it, put the airwolf theme on and gone bizzay.

Lol, I`ve got one of those and it`s the illusion of control - excellent fun.

I can agree with that, now that lost/heroes/smallville(yeah i know ;)) have finnished I down`t download much at all.
