Sony DVD Recorder - Multiregion

nmason (Harmless) posted this on Thursday, 8th May 2008, 10:24

Hi everyone. Not been on for a while, but you all helped me out last time so here goes. I have a Sony RDR HXD710 which plays region 2 dvds. When I owned a Mustek V56L you told me how to convert it to be a multi-region machine.

What I want to know is can I do the same on my Sony DVD Recorder?

Many Thanks :)

I doubt it. I believe Sony stuff isn`t easily multi-regioned.

Last time I looked at making a Sony multi region... I would of had to hire a sony engineers remote for £50...

They`re not easy to do...

Easy,

Buy this off ebay

Simply point it at your player and hey presto, multi region.

I have a GX350 and it worked straight away no problem
