I`m interested to know how the film is, because sport doesn`t often translate well to the big screen.
Brian Elliott is a British journalist, covering soccer, MMA, and pro wrestling. He has written for the likes of the Associated Press, the Canadian Press, and Fighting Spirit Magazine, and has also appeared as a guest on Fight Network Radio.

Well the main guy, Mr Sheen, was on The One Show last night
I know that the hosts arent going to slag it off but
Adrian Chiles (who obvioulsy likes his football) said he loved it as he was from the Cloughie Era etc etc
Christine Blakely (who is not into football at all) said she watched it and liked it as a story. She didnt think there was a problem in enjoying the film if you werent into football

well worth a watch I reckon. Cloughie is a very interesting man, to say the least. I`m looking forward to it, and I only look forward to about two films a year.
Imagine a film about Ferguson, what a dour piece of s*** that would be.

Well it got a good slagging off from R5 because it was so inaccurate, when they spoke to people that knew the man and where there at the time and even one that disliked him ,the film is a complete work of fiction and that is what the maker of the film said when they spoke to him via the phone.
It may be a good film but dont take it as fact like the ads would have us believe.

its inaccurate because its a film based on a book which was a fictional story based around actual events. Very few supposed factual biopics are 100% historically accurate anyhow people are moved around in time and events changed for `dramatic effect` This film is slightly different as its not intended to be a factual account as such, more a dramatisation
If its fact your after theres a book coming out called `We are the Damned United` which contains interviews with players of the time, Gray, Lorimer etc which as a Leeds fan is on my to read list :)

I wonder if there will be any mention of the F.A. investigation in to cup tickets on the black market in either drama/ film ;)

Hi,
Did anyone record this? I was out on an emergency call and forgot to switch on the recorder. I`d be most grateful and of course will pay any postage and disc costs etc.
Thanks
