They`re also broadcasting in 3D at 9pm on 25/8 on Virgin 1 - an episode of "Chuck", free glasses are available in the August 18th TV & Satellite magazine. Theres also 1000 pairs being given away on the virgin media website somewhere!
Should be interesting and could bode well for future showings of all of these 3D films that are hitting cinemas now days, except i`m not about that day :(
RE: Virgin Media gets ESPN (Premier League)
Cool, I saw that episode was 3d in USA, I wondered if they`d bother here, and glad that`s the tv mag I get anyway :) Cheers for the heads up.

RE: Virgin Media gets ESPN (Premier League)
It`s about time VM had some more HD channels than just BBC HD. I`ll have to investigate what ESPN have that would interest me - if it`s just soccer then I couldn`t care less. I think they have the Top14 French rugby matches, which should be great, considering the British contingent playing there - it`s one way to keep a close eye on Wilkinson`s form and fitness.

My DVD Collection
trailer in 3d
there`s slight spoiler in the trailer, but I bought TV & Satellite Week today and got 1 pare of glasses, and the trailer looks good, not sure how good watching a whole episode will be! if anyone gets that TV guide, but doesn`t want the glasses I`d be happy to have them so my missus and I can watch Chuck together as we normally do rather than in shifts!
the glasses are amber and blue lenses rather than the old red and blue.

Does ESPN replace the old Setanta channel? (I`m on about the non-HD channel)
If not, what number is it? Thanks
Something like 529 I think and yes it replaces setanta for free for virgin size XL customers and is free to all other virgin customers until end of august.
