Page 1 of POLL: South Park or Family Guy?

This is something that devides the world of cartoon comedy, i have to go with South Park. Lets see how it pans out...

Family Guy was great when it first aired, and even when it came back I laughed pretty regularly for a season or two. Now it`s gone the way of The Simpsons - absolute ****. I honestly can`t remember the last time it made me laugh.

South Park, on the other hand, gives me at least a few decent chuckles in even the worst episodes.

The latest one is really funny, where Randy gets testicular cancer, and he`s using his balls as space hoppers to bounce around.

I laugh at Family guy clips on youtube, but have yet to see an entire episode. SP, on the other hand I watch religiously

Family Guy is a piece of s***, its lazy comedy that a monkey could write.

Or a tankful of manatees.

Looks like all the lurkers are voting for FG and all the posters are voting for SP. Sp all the way for me, no contest. The Sexual Healing episode was great, as was the last one. The Tale of Scrotie McBoogerballs not so much. The upcoming You have 0 Friends looks like a good premise (and Stan in a Tron suit).

Family Guy is, as has been said, badly written and stopped being funny years ago. I gave up on it after about season five whereas South Park has been consistently funny and is a much more intelligent and amusing show than Family `Do you remember that time when ...` Guy. Hell, even American Dad is better than Family Guy and has been for some time.

My DVD Collection

I gave up on Family Guy a long while back also.  First 3 seasons were really good, but then whenever I`ve seen since it`s never really made me laugh anymore.

South Park I`ve always seen random episodes since season 4 and generally there have been some belters/but also some average ones.  I have in fact got seasons 12 and 13 the the other week so will probably get seasons 5/6 aswell and actually work my way through to the current ones.
