Anyone found somewhere to buy Amaray DVD Cases from?
There`s always the odd DVD that comes through with the centre plastic DVD holder broken so your DVD rattles around in the case! The last place I tried to order cases from I`ve never had a reply from (they didn`t cash the cheque either).
Movietyme (http://movietyme.isys.ca/index.shtml) sell Amaray cases, singles, doubles whatever you want. Singles cost £1 each.
If you want to buy bulk, for £16 you can get 50 clear Amaray`s from first4media (http://www.first4media.com).
If you have a local DVD rental store you could try and strike up a bargain buying a few for about 50p each.
Last option, buy a magazine with a DVD case on the front and use this, you get a magazine you might like too. :-)
Also, many £1 shops sell packs of 5 (for £1 - unsurprisingly!)
Dazza.
My local Blockbuster sells surplus Amarays (black, white, clear, blue and green) for 20p each, so it might be worth trying them.
Blockbuster was the first place I tried but they just looked at me with their trademark blank expressions...don`t have these "Pound" shops round here either... :-(
Try having a word with one of the senior members of the Blockbuster staff. I had to ask three people before I got a guy who knew what an Amaray was...
the newish AOL trial cds now come in cases which are similar to DVD cases. I dont know if you can pick them up from any shops, but i get one come through the door nearly monthly, lol
best of all they are free. Just bin the cd and rip out the cover.
