Linda Gray was by his bedside when he died, which I thought was quite sweet.

It was nice to see him come back in Desperate Housewives as a racist old bugger! And I used to watch repeats of I Dream of Jeanie (spelling?) when I was a kid.

In the new Dallas it's Bobby who has cancer, so I wonder what the script writers are going to do.

Like many actors, totally unlike the characters he portrayed, he was actually very left wing leaning, was heavily against Bush and the Vietnam war.

May he RIP!

This is sad.  He always seemed like a nice guy.  Funnily enough I was watching (Jim) Barnes on TV the other day who is coming on the 2nd series of the new Dallas.
