RE: Meet the new boss, same as the old boss

Well the SNP done their job in Scotland, just a shame that labour could not do it in the rest of the UK.
ach well 5 more years of bloody austerity, can't wait.

RE: Election 2015

I think people up here are wary of the agenda Sturgeon will push at Westminster. If it's just to hurt England then their popularity will plummet. Labour have to have an agreement with the snp for milliband to be PM and all his posturing on the issue can't disguise that, although I think the trident issue will be a real problem. I think at the end of the day labour are being punished for siding with the Tories during the independence referendum and the SNP are the only option up here. I read recently that 75% of Scottish people voted for independence but the others who live here put the kibosh on it. We will probably get independence in the next 10 years but I'm still not sure if it's a good thing or not.

RE: Election 2015

As a scot I'm delighted the SNP is polling well here, looks like they'll win just about every seat and possibly holding the balance of power in Westminster. I've read a lot of hysteria lately about what happens if the SNP do well and was wondering what you guys think?

Looking For a New Laptop

Hi Guys
Am looking for a new laptop for my son for Christmas (and me don't tell him).
He will need it for school work and gaming so powerful and a good graphics card a must.
I can stretch to £800 if I need to.
Any help appreciated.
Cheers David

RE: Grangemouth petrochemical plant closure

That's a good point. I think before the government puts any money in an investigation into where the money is being lost needs to be held.

RE: Grangemouth petrochemical plant closure

I can see where your coming from Choagy but any business that's losing £10 million a month needs to make radical changes.
Obviously the workers are the ones who will suffer and not the useless owners but in the end they still have their jobs and I for one am happy with that (brother in law works there)

RE: [VIDEO] RE: Still Game :) The return

Got my tickets for the Wednesday night. Can't wait!
Will be interested to see how the hydro is as a venue as it's had really mixed reviews.
Love Navid reminds me of the guy in the shop down the road from me.

RE: Ricky Burns (Spoilers)

Ricky definitely lost the fight and for me needs to move up a weight as he looks drained.
Fair play to him though not many fighters could get through 10 rounds with a broken jaw. Had his op last night and hope to see him put this result right in the near future.

RE: ebay payment question..

AFAIK the purchase may have taken place within Fleabay but because the buyer hasn`t gone through the payment process, I doubt you will be protected as eBay won`t have on records of the payment taken place. Pretty sure I`m right but best to double check with Fleabay.
Hope it works out ok

RE: JR is dead - RIP Larry Hagman

If he was I bet you it was Krystal.

RE: FIFA 13 Xbox 360 question

Had a search for the answer and it turns out its Kinect that`s the problem. Any noise or anything out of the ordinary and it classes it as inappropriate behaviour too many of these and your sacked. Best advice is to turn off Kinect in career mode

FIFA 13 Xbox 360 question

Hope someone can help with this.
My son was working his way through the season as Man Utd when he started getting messages from the board about his behaviour as a manager. This eventually led to him being sacked. Is their any way to avoid this happening as it took him ages to assemble the squad.
Any help appreciated.

RE: The Official Celtic 2012/2013 Season Thread

Brilliant result. Just got back and absolutely loved it. Had heard stories of the Spartak fans being total nutters but couldn`t be further from the truth. Ended up in one of their pubs singing Russian songs and drinking homemade vodka. Amazing how easy it is to speak the language when you`ve had a few. Celtic were poor first half but I think Lennon gave them a rocket at half time and what a performance second half. Everyone of them immense. Thoroughly deserved victory. Bring on Barca.

RE: Burns V Mitchell

Was there as well. Atmosphere was amazing. Live near Harrison and what I heard the last week or so has been disturbing to say the least. Ricky Burns was immense, didn`t expect that from him. Fancied him to win but on points as Mitchell can take a punch. Supposed to be fighting again in December and the rumours are it will be Harrison.
Glad you enjoyed the fight.

RE: Doctor Who: The Next Regeneration...

Loved the line about Susan the horse and his life choices had me laughing even after the show finished.

RE: A Touch of Cloth

Yeah really enjoyed it too. Had to rewind a few bits to get the jokes as at one point they were coming thick and fast.

RE: The Official Celtic 2012/2013 Season Thread

Good performance at the weekend against caley. Hardly got out of 1st gear. Surprised at that because caley are usually right up for it. Shame about the 2 goals at the end but the objective was the win and avoiding injuries for the Helsingborg game.
Had a chuckle when tony watt scored an on SSN it came up as T. Watt.

RE: The Official Celtic 2012/2013 Season Thread

Excellent result tonight. Barring a disaster should qualify for the group stages of CL now. Forster once again superb England really need to take a look at him. Defence was the usual heart in the mouth stuff but have done enough to qualify.

Hail Hail

RE: The Official Celtic 2012/2013 Season Thread

Wouldn`t worry about it too much mbilko. I think yesterday was really just an exercise in avoiding injuries and also giving some of our injured players the time to come back. Obviously the prize is the Helsingborg games and I will take a few draws if it means we get to the Champions League.
Do you get to many games?
All the best

Hail Hail

RE: RIP Sid Waddell : The voice of Darts

Didn`t realise he wrote jossy`s giants loved that show.
Loved listening to him on the darts, was a real one off, will be sadly missed.

RIP Sid

RE: Ye Shiwen : Special or Drugs Cheat?

Heard on the radio this morning that even though she`s drug free, china started a programme of genitically altering potential athletes to make them faster and stronger.
Not sure if I believe it though but you never know!

RE: Whats the best teaching software for Kids learning on the PC?

My sons school recommended the whole class subscribe to Education City.
Costs a bit but my son loves it. Been on it every day even though been on summer holidays for weeks. Have to keep reminding him to go out and play.
